Mission Haiti: Day 3

Another great day in Haiti today. We made the 1 1/2 hour drive from Jacmel to Cap Rouge, mostly through winding, unpaved (aka: extremely rocky, hang on for your life, not-so-much-a-road-as-a-) pathway.

Harvest Bible Chapel Cap Rouge is slated to launch on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Vision meetings are underway with more than 200 people attending as Pastor Antoine Sainval casts the vision for the future of this church. The building where they will meet also serves as a medical clinic founded by Pastor Abraham Comper, the Senior Pastor of Harvest Jacmel. People in Cap Rouge are extremely hungry for God’s word and for a church that is committed to the mission and pillars of Harvest.

As great as visiting this site was today, the highlight – hands down – was visiting Ecole Brezou, a grade K-12 school in Cap Rouge. The pictures and video below tells the story a lot better than I could, so click below to see what God is doing in Cap Rouge, Haiti.
